My favourite of the 3 branches across Edinburgh! Popular with students and locals rather than full of tourists. Others have commented on the prices being high, but as an avid vintage shopper I disagree and find it very reasonable for the quality. I'd also like to point out that they always have a great selection for curvier folk; I'm around a UK size 16 and never struggle to find gems.

I love this place. It has a great selection of all types of retro clothes. I buy my Levi 501's at a fraction of the current retail price, £17. Cant beat it. Yes they are obviously used but what the heck. Shoes boots. Coats all retro. My son loves the stuff they sell. Go on you'll love it.

One of Edinburgh’s best vintage shops. The Clerk Street shop has a great selection: leather and suede jackets, biker jackets, cowboy boots, shirts, blouses, scarfs, hats, jumpers, cardigans. All at reasonable prices. What a great way to recycle. I bought this leather jacket. The lady behind the counter was extremely friendly and chatty and can really help if you have questions.

A must visit store for lovers of vintage and unusual clothes. Armstrong's has a huge array of clothes and accessories in this cavernous store. There are sometimes a few bargains to be had but generally you can expect to pay a bit more. Look out for good quality cashmere.

One of the best vintage shops in Edinburgh. Quite reasonably priced and nice staff. Only request would be to add a section of vintage undergarments!

I visit the shop on Clerk St regularly and I've never felt disappointed. It's my fav one in Edinburgh. The selection of clothes and particularly jackets and coats <3 is great. I highly recommend for all 70's and 80's fans ;) Customer service is excellent and staff is nice and helpful especially girl with light blond curly hair. She is very often there and always helps me to find something perfect for me. 5 stars!!

Been to Armstrong’s a few times now and the customer service is always fantastic, usually I’m served by Abby and she’s always got great chat, always very helpful as are the rest of the girls. If you’re looking for any kind of vintage or quirky garments this is definitely the place to visit! Prices are always amazing too especially when other places in town have the same sort of things and they’re twice the price and not the same quality! I’ll be in again soon! X

Fantastic shop with one of a kind type of clothes, vintage and modern, some with a twist of elegance, some youthful and fun. Staff that works there is amazing and very helpful and friendly, always making sure i find what im looking for, even thou im a demanding customer. Especially the beautiful blond girl, always creating a friendly atmosphere. In general, fantastic shop with all wicked clothes you may need. I recommend, 5 stars!

Selection in all Armstrongs stores is ace but this is my favourite by far. Good for a rummage, easy to find everything you’re looking for and staff are always happy to help advise if you’re looking for something specific. I really love the window displays and good mix of clothing and accessories. I’ve never had a bad experience in here, the staff are all really friendly and chatty and I always leave with a smile on my face :) definitely recommend!!
